Pittsfield: Eagles Band announces outdoor concerts


The Eagles Band will perform three free outdoor lawn concerts in July as they celebrate 80 years of making music in the Berkshires.

The Eagles Concert Band will perform a free concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 21, (rain date July 22) at the Dalton CRA and 6 p.m. Sunday, July 24, at the Adams Visitor Center.

These concerts will feature a mostly all-American program with themes from Broadway and select patriotic tunes. Bring a lawn chair.

The Eagles Big Band will perform a free concert of big band era music at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at Springside Park. Bring a lawn chair; picnics are welcome.

Anyone interested in joining the band can come to a rehearsal from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays at First United Methodist Church.
