Pittsfield: Eagles Band to present holiday concert

The Eagles Band celebrates its 76th year with its annual free holiday concert at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, at First United Methodist Church on Fenn Street.

Selections will include "In the Bleak Midwinter," "Celtic Carol" and "Sleigh Ride."

This event is free and for all ages. Patrons can also enjoy the band's traditional intermission homemade bake sale, holiday raffle and sing along.

The Eagles Band was founded in 1936 and is the oldest continuing performance ensemble in the Berkshires. Members of the band range in age from 12 to 90 with skill levels of intermediate to expert.
