Pittsfield: Ethnic Fair and classic car show slated Sunday


The annual Pittsfield Ethnic Fair and Car Show is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 27, rain or shine, along North Street between Park Square and Maplewood Avenue.

This free family-friendly outdoor cultural street festival and car show will feature ethnic cuisine, vendors, entertainment, children’s activities, and more than 200 cars.

Performers include the Bronte Roman Latin Jazz Ensemble, Rakish Paddy, Bell Accordo, Youth Alive Step Dance Team, Polka Dot Dancers, and more.

The car show event is presented by the Pittsfield Piston Poppers Car Club and will be located on North Street from Columbus Avenue to Maplewood and Linden Street intersections. The car show headquarters and information table will be in front of the Ralph Froio Senior Center, 330 North St.

Car show registration begins at 11 a.m. with a suggested donation of $10. All proceeds will be given to Soldier On. There is no preregistration.

Car exhibitors are asked to enter at the corners of North Street and Maplewood Avenue/Linden Street. This will be the only location to enter the show.
