Pittsfield: Facilitator training for veterans support group


National Alliance on Mental Illness Berkshire County is seeking veterans who are interested in leading NAMI Connection Support Groups for veterans.

The organization will hold a two-day facilitator training at the Berkshire United Way office, 200 South St., from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 14 and 15.

Individuals who are interested in attending and becoming a facilitator should call 413-443-1666 or email namibc@namibc.org by Wednesday, Nov. 11.

The support groups are free and open to veterans living with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress, and other mental health conditions.
