Pittsfield: Gospel Extravaganza to benefit Christian Center

The Christian Center will present a Gospel Extravaganza fundraiser at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30, at First United Methodist Church on Fenn Street.

The event will feature the Talleys, a progressive southern gospel group composed of Roger and Debra Talley, their daughter, Lauren, and her husband, Brian Alvey.

Children and adults from choirs and choral groups from all over the Berkshires will be singing with the Talleys under the direction of Gracie Walton of Second Congregational Church.

The Talleys have received numerous accolades from the GMA Dove Awards, Singing News Fan Awards, the Southern Gospel Music Guild Harmony Honors, the BMI Awards, and SGN Music Awards.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Christian Center or by visiting thechristiancenter.eventbrite.com.

Tickets are $15 per person or $50 which includes the meet and greet and premium seating at the concert. Tickets can also be purchased the night of the concert for $20 each.
