Pittsfield: Grange to hold turkey dinner, auction

Pittsfield Grange No. 14 will hold its 62nd annual turkey dinner and auction on Saturday, Aug. 25, in the ballroom of the Masonic Temple, 116 South St.

One sitting for the dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served family style and will include turkey with all the fixings and homemade pies for dessert.

Donations are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Dinner reservations may be made by calling Bernice Keeler at (413) 442-1479.

During the day on Saturday, Aug. 25, flowers, vegetables, preserves, baked and canned goods will be on display on the ballroom stage. Anyone can display items with the understanding that all items will be donated to the auction which will begin at 6:45 p.m.

Frank LaRagione will serve as auctioneer. Door prizes donated by local businesses will be awarded during the auction.

Purchasing a dinner ticket and being present for the auction makes one eligible to win a door prize.
