Pittsfield: Habitat to offer financial fitness classes


Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity will start its next series of free money management classes on Monday, June 9.

The Building for Tomorrow Financial Fitness program is funded by Berkshire United Way and is open to anyone in the community who wants to gain control of their finances.

The six hands-on classes include getting out of debt, repairing bad credit, increasing savings and a creating a workable budget.
