Pittsfield: Haunted hayride raises $29,000 for suicide prevention

The Berkshire Coalition for Suicide Prevention and the National Alliance for Mental Illness Berkshire County raised $29,000 to support teen suicide prevention programming through its Purgatory Road Haunted Hayride.

The event spanned over two weekends in October, and three of the four nights were sold out. More than 70 high school students and recent graduates volunteered their time to bring the Haunted Hayride to life.
