Pittsfield: Human Rights Commission to host fundraiser

The city of Pittsfield's Human Rights Commission will host its first fundraiser from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at First United Methodist Church, 55 Fenn St.

There is a suggested donation of $10; funds will benefit the commission's work toward fostering equal rights for all city residents through targeted initiatives and programming.

The event will feature an Elvis-themed performance by Tommy T and Black Velvet. There also will be an assortment of door prizes including sheets of new Elvis stamps.
