Pittsfield lacrosse beats WRHS
PITTSFIELD -- The Pittsfield boys lacrosse team fell behind twice to Wahconah, but took control in the latter part of the first period to eventually win, 18-6.
"I tried to tell them that Wahconah was going to come to play, but it took them a whoile to get it going," said Pittsfield coach Scott Aitken.
Ethan Carr had four goals for the Generals, while Brady Aitken added three.
Hoosac Valley 8, Taconic 2
NORTH ADAMS -- Judge Duval had two goals and three assists to lead the Hurricanes to their second win in a row. Hoosac led 3-0 at halftime and 6-0 after three periods.
Greylock 21, St. Joe's 0
WILLIAMSTOWN -- The Mounties scored nine goals in the second quarter and Pat Malloy made five stops to earn the shutout.
Brett McCormack led Greylock with four goals and four assists while Michael McCormack had two goals and four assists. Ethan Ryan, Kent Hanson and Ben Krant had three goals each.
Wyatt Porter made 16 saves in net for the Crusaders.
Box scores will run in Friday's Eagle.
Monument sweeps Drury
GREAT BARRINGTON -- The Monument boys didn't lose a game in winning all three contested matches. Kevin Li and Jon Humas swept the top two single spots while Skylar Okerstrom Lang and Andrew Rada combined for a win at first doubles. The Blue Devils forfeited the other two matches.
The Spartan girls took all five matches in straight sets to pick up the win.
