Pittsfield: 'Look Good Feel Better' program for cancer patients

Posted

The American Cancer Society's "Look Good Feel Better" program will hold an upcoming session from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, July 18, at Berkshire Medical Center, Cancer and Infusion Center, 165 Tor Court.

This free service teaches cancer patients hands-on cosmetic techniques to help them cope with appearance-related side effects from treatment; free tips and training on wig care, scarf and hat use; skin care, and nail care.

All participants will receive a free makeup kit. Cosmetologists certified and trained by the ACS conduct the sessions, which are non-medical and do not promote any product line.

Participants should register at least one week before the session by calling 800-227-2345.
