PITTSFIELD — A city man escaped serious injury following a two-car crash at the corner of Linden and Seymour streets.

Around 6;20 p.m. on Tuesday, a Mini Cooper and 2003 Chevrolet collided at the intersection, causing the Chevy blazer to roll over onto the vehicle's driver side, according to police.

One of the drivers, Josh Brandmeyer, of Pittsfield, was taken to Berkshire Medical Center where he was treated and released, BMC officials said Thursday.

Shannon Hickey, of Pittsfield, the driver of the Mini Cooper, contacted the Eagle on Friday, Jan. 8, to report that she was not injured in the crash.

Police said Brandmeyer was issued a citation as a result of the crash.
