Pittsfield: Money management classes begin Aug. 7


The next series of free money management classes from Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity begins Thursday, Aug. 7, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The Building for Tomorrow Financial Tools program is funded by the Berkshire United Way and is open to anyone in the community who wants to be more in control of and less stressed by their finances.

The six hands-on classes include getting out of debt, repairing bad credit, increasing savings and creating a simple, workable budget that is easy to maintain.
