Pittsfield: Museum to host Berkshire Music School performance

Berkshire Music School will present "Carnival of the Animals" by Camille Saint-Saens in concert at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, and Thursday, Feb. 20, at the Berkshire Museum.

Berkshire Music School students and faculty members will perform Saint-Saens’ tribute to the world of animals, a whimsical and humorous musical suite of 14 movements.

After the 30-minute performance, audience members can use their programs as a guide, exploring the Museum to find examples of all the animals portrayed in the music.

Tickets are $15/adult, $8/child for non-members; $5/adult, $3/child for members. Children 3 and under free. The ticket includes Museum admission.
