Pittsfield: NAMI offers recovery program for veterans

The National Alliance on Mental Illness Berkshire County will hold the Peer-to-Peer Veterans Group from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, June 28, July 12 and July 26, at 333 East Street, Room 423.

NAMI Berkshire County's Peer-to-Peer Veterans Group is a recovery-focused education program for veterans living with mental health disorders. The group provides critical information and strategies for recovery while creating a veteran support network.

The group provides an atmosphere for learning and growth for both combat and non-combat veterans, and the instructors are peers who have been trained by NAMI to facilitate the group.
