Pittsfield: NAMI offers recovery support for veterans

The National Alliance on Mental Illness Berkshire County will hold the Peer-to-Peer Veterans Group from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, June 7 and 8, at the NAMI office at 333 East St., Room 417.

The recovery-focused education program for veterans living with mental health disorders provides critical information and strategies for recovery while creating a veteran support network.

The instructors are peers who have been trained by NAMI to facilitate the group. There will be a variety of activities, presentations, and exercises, all in a confidential environment where participants can learn from shared experiences.

For more information or to register, contact Chris, the Veterans Connections coordinator, at 413-242-8176 or email namibc@namibc.org.
