In an effort to defray costs of equipment, trips and camp outs, local Boy Scout Troop 8 has planned its first Pittsfield Pizza Playoff from 5 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, in the lower hall of St. Charles Church on Briggs Avenue.

The general public will vote on the best pizza during this all-you-can-eat event.

Participating restaurants include both of Pittsfield’s Domino’s, Baba Louie’s, Liberty, Manny’s, Papa Gino’s, Papa Joe’s, East Side, Hot Tomatoes, Tyler Street Pizza House, Vivaldi’s, Teddy’s, and Zucco’s.

Music will be provided by local disc jockey Larry Kratka.

The cost to attend is $6 per adult, $4 for children under 12, and free for children under 3.

Information: Patrick Kelly at (413) 242-8681.
