Wednesday, Aug. 14 n 8:36 a.m.: There is a motor vehicle accident near Miss Hall's School on Holmes Road. No one is injured. Information is swapped between drivers.
n 09:40 a.m.: There is a motor vehicle accident near the Johnson Ford auto dealership on East Street. No one is injured. Information is swapped between drivers.
n 09:49 a.m.: An alarm is sounded at Berkshire Bank on West Street for a hold-up. It turned out to be a false alarm.
n 10:49 a.m..: George J. Bliss Jr., 47, of South John Street, is arrested by police on a warrant.
n 10:57 a.m.: Jacqueline A. Cunagin, 47, of Westminster Street, is arrested by police on a warrant.
n 11:52 a.m.: An incident of larceny/forgery/fraud is reported on Highland Avenue. Services are rendered.
n 1:49 p.m.: An unidentified person is reported drunk via a 911 call. The person was picked up on Patricia Avenue and transported to the hospital.
n 2:34 p.m.: James R. Purcell, 29, of Second Street, is arrested by police on a warrant.
n 5:44 p.m.: Police respond to suspicious activity seen at the Dunkin' Donuts on First Street and issue a citation of warning.
n 7:48 p.m.: A motor vehicle hit- and-run incident is reported near Dalton Avenue and Benedict Road. The perpetrator could not be located.
n 11:39 p.m.: An assault is reported via a 911 call and is investigated at the Elizabeth Freeman Center.
