Pittsfield police search for 2 men who robbed pizza delivery man

PITTSFIELD -- City police detectives are searching for the two men who robbed at gunpoint a pizza delivery man Sunday evening.

Around 6:50 p.m., a driver for Empire Pizza was making a stop on Curtis Street, when a white male and black male armed with handguns demanded money from the delivery man, according to a Pittsfield Police Department press release issued Monday.

The victim, who was unharmed, handed over his wallet and cash to the men who fled the scene.

No further description of the suspects is available.
