Pittsfield police seek driver in pedestrian hit and run
PITTSFIELD -- Police were searching early Friday for a red Honda Civic that may have been involved in a hit-and-run collision with a pedestrian in Pittsfield late Thursday.
A Pittsfield resident said he was struck by the vehicle on First Street before midnight, according to Pittsfield Police Sgt. Mark Trapani.
The victim walked into Cumberland Farms to report the incident. He was transported to Berkshire Medical Center to be treated for hip pain.
