Pittsfield Police seek suspect in theft of vehicle from dealership

PITTSFIELD — City police have asked for the public's help in identifying a man who may have stolen a vehicle from a car dealership on Tyler Street.

The Pittsfield Police Department posted a pair of brief videos on its Facebook page showing a man walking near several parked vehicles.

In one of the videos, a man can be seen apparently pulling on the handle of a car door then walking away without entering the vehicle.

In a reply to a Facebook message, police said the stolen vehicle was recovered after it was reported stolen about two weeks ago.

The exact date of the theft was unclear. No further information was available.
