Pittsfield police seek witnesses to vehicle-pedestrian accident at First, Fenn streets

PITTSFIELD -- Police are looking for witnesses to a vehicle-pedestrian accident at the intersection of First and Fenn streets at 8:47 a.m. Tuesday.

Police did not name the pedestrian, but said the individual has been transported from Berkshire Medical Center to Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

The vehicle, a 2009 Hyundai Tuscon driven by Marie Guertin Fedoshyn, 65, of Pittsfield, collided with the person on foot, according to police.

Police say anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact Officer Michael Silver in the traffic bureau at (413) 448-9700, ext. 409.
