Pittsfield: Pub Crawl to benefit Eagle Santa Fund

Thursday October 25, 2012

The third annual Pub Crawl to benefit the Eagle Santa Fund is scheduled for 2 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 10.

This event will start off at the front door of The Infield, Home of the Berkshire Baseball Academy, at 10 Lyman St. The event will consist of two buses, five establishments and approximately 90 people.

Participating venues include Thistle & Mirth and Mad Jack's BBQ, Pittsfield; Moe's Tavern, Lee; and Heritage Tavern and Halpin's Grub and Grog, Lenox.

The charitable event is also sponsored by Spirited Wines in Lenox.

The Santa Fund provides gift certificates to over 1,500 families and children in need around Berkshire County every holiday season.

Approximately $40,000 is needed every year to make these donations work. The target amount to be raised by this year's pub crawl is $2,500.

The pub crawl is open to ages 35 and up. Tickets cost $35 and include bus transportation and T-shirt. Space is limited.

For tickets and further information, contact Jude Forrest at (413) 443-9399 or email jforrest@cohenkinne.com.

The event organizer is Michael Massery, owner and operator of the Berkshire Baseball Academy.
