Pittsfield: Rainbow Seniors expand to second location

Posted

The Rainbow Seniors of Berkshire County, a program for the county's lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender senior citizens and their friends, will be meeting at two locations: Williamstown and now Pittsfield.

The Williamstown potluck lunches and programs will continue to take place from noon to 2 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every month at First Congregational Church, 906 Main St.

Starting Feb. 6, the group will also meet from 2 to 4 p.m. on the first Saturday of every month in the Berkshire Athenaeum conference room.

The Williamstown meetings will continue to focus on a member-supplied potluck lunch followed by presentations and discussions on a different topic each month.

The Pittsfield meeting on Feb. 6 will start with a group discussion of what kinds of activities and services members would like.

Both locations are in a private setting and are handicap accessible.
