Pittsfield: Rehabilitation lecture to focus on voice

The Center for Rehabilitation at Berkshire Medical Center will hold a free community lecture focusing on your voice, how to identify problems and when to seek treatment.

"Getting the Most Out of Your Voice" will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 26, in the Center for Rehabilitation, BMC Medical Arts Complex, fifth floor.

Irene Wolcott and Deborah MacDonald, speech and language pathologists at BMC, will discuss risk factors and symptoms of voice disorders, when to seek medical attention and what every professional speaker needs to know about protecting their voice.

The program is free and open to all. Pre-registration is required by calling (413) 447-2238.
