Pittsfield: Research to discuss search for Holocaust property

The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires will present "The Quest for Holocaust Property" with researcher Jane Berger at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10, at Congregation Knesset Israel, 16 Colt Road.

Berger will address the questions of family property confiscated in Europe by the Nazi’s and the procedures regarding how to discover and pursue claims related to real estate, businesses, insurance policies, and bank accounts.

Berger will also discuss how to gather information regarding family members who perished during the Holocaust.

The program is open to the public at a cost of $3.
