Pittsfield: Rotary Club plans annual auction

The Pittsfield Rotary Club will hold its 25th annual Rotary Auction on Saturday, Jan. 30, at the Crowne Plaza.

The club's biggest annual fundraiser is themed "The Gift of Rotary" to emphasis the work the club does each year to give back to the community.

The event features a preview and silent auction at 5 p.m. and the live auction begins at 6:30 p.m.

The live auction features merchandise and gift certificates donated by local merchants along with travel and advertising opportunities.

Funds raised at the auction allow the Rotary Club of Pittsfield to continue its scholarship, grant and AP testing assistance programs along with continued maintenance of accessible equipment at Rotary Park at Springside Park.

Admission is a $10 donation per person with light fare included and a cash bar.
