Pittsfield: Students to be inducted into French Honors Society

Taconic High School’s French Club announces that four French students will be inducted this year into Taconic’s chapter of the Société Honoraire de Français, the National French Honors Society.

This year’s inductees are Viola Sharron, Ranjana Lingutla, Caroline Fairweather, and Shelbie Toole.

The induction ceremony will be held at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, at the Taconic High School Library with a reception to follow.

To qualify for induction, these students have maintained an A average in an advanced French class for at least three consecutive marking terms, and a B average overall. They are also active members of the French Club at Taconic.
