Pittsfield: 'Teachers Got Talent' to benefit scholarship fund

Dollars for Scholars will present the Teachers Got Talent show at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29, in the auditorium at Taconic High School, Valentine Road.

Fifteen of Pittsfield's teachers from St. Joseph, Taconic and Pittsfield High will strut their stuff on the catwalk, reveal their hidden talents and answer educational trivia questions.

Five teachers from each school were nominated by the student body. The teacher to earn the most points overall will win the crown of Professor Pittsfield.

Cash calendar opportunities will be sold throughout the evening.

Tickets for the show will be $5 in advance and $7 at the door.

All proceeds will benefit Pittsfield Dollars for Scholars, an organization that has provided nearly $1 million to graduating seniors from Pittsfield, Taconic and St. Joseph high schools.
