Pittsfield: Town Players announce auditions for two productions

Town Players of Pittsfield will be holding auditions for two productions at the Whitney Center for the Arts, 42 Wendell Ave.

Auditions for "Mr. Madoff Meets the Crawfish Queen" will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25. The play, directed by Melanie Rivers, will be produced on July 15 for Third Thursday.

The cast calls for a woman in her 20s to 30s and a narrator, male or female, of any age.

Auditions for a reading of "A Bad Year for Tomatoes," written by John Patrick and directed by Meredith McMillan, will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, June 26 and 27.

The cast calls for four women and three men as well as a narrator, male or female; ages are late 20s to 60s.
