Pittsfield: Town Players to audition for staged reading


Town Players of Pittsfield announce auditions for a staged reading of two one-act plays at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, May 27 and 28, at the Whitney Center for the Arts, 42 Wendell Ave.

The two plays are "Talking Cure," a comedy by Ethan Coen, and "George Is Dead," a comedy by Elaine May. Needed for the cast are men and women of middle age and older. The plays also require a narrator.

The director for both plays is Bernardine Handler.

The performance date will be 2 p.m. Sunday, June 29.
