Pittsfield: Town Players to hold auditions

Town Players of Pittsfield will hold open auditions for a staged reading of "Sorry, Wrong Number" by Lucille Fletcher, directed by Michael P. Murphy, starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 2 and 3, at Morningside Community School, 100 Burbank St.

Needed are five to 10 men and women of various ages. Many roles will be doubled up.

The staged reading will be presented at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, at the Lichtenstein Center For Arts, 28 Renne Ave.

"Sorry, Wrong Number" was originally a half-hour radio script aired on the Suspense radio program on May 25, 1943. The play was reprised seven times.
