Pittsfield: Weekend fundraisers to benefit Wounded Warriors, local club

The Polish Community Club is hosting "Rockin’ for Heroes II," a fundraiser to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, at noon Saturday, Aug. 16, on the club grounds, 55 Linden St.

Bands include BlackWater, Lulu and The Shoemakers, Jill Gallagher Band, and Red Handed. The first band begins at 1 p.m.

Cover charge is $10. Outside cash sales include a cash bar and food. Bring your own chair.

On Sunday, Aug. 17, the club is hosting a Poker Run for Fun and Car Show to benefit the club. The car show starts at 10 a.m. and the Poker Run begins at noon.

Registration fee is $20 per poker player; car show only is $10. A picnic begins at 6 p.m.
