Pittsfield: 'White Ally' workshop to combat racism

National civic engagement and racial dialogue leader David Campt will present the "White Ally Toolkit" from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at Unitarian Universalist Church, 175 Wendell Ave.

Multicultural BRIDGE is sponsoring this special interactive workshop to help white people learn practical skills to counter racism skeptics using empathetic listening and dialogue tactics.

The workshops are open to the public, with a sliding scale registration fee of $15 to $50 per person. Seating is limited and registration is required.
