Pittsfield: WWII-era champion swimmers subject of documentary

The Jewish Federation of the Berkshires will present the film documentary and program, "Watermarks," at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10, at Congregation Knesset Israel, 16 Colt Road.

The program focuses on the champion women swimmers of the legendary World War II-era Jewish Austrian sports club, "Hakoah Vienna." The presentation will be facilitated by Lenox resident Stella Schecter who was a swimmer at Hakoah.

The program is open to the public at a cost of $3.
