Police: 2-car crash caused SUV to hit Springfield home


SPRINGFIELD, MASS. >> Police say no one was hurt when a two-car crash sent a car careening into a Springfield home.

Police say a sport utility vehicle collided with another car around 6:15 p.m. Saturday. The SUV hit the house and the other car drove off. Police say they don't yet know what caused the crash.

Authorities say the SUV damaged the foundation of the home. It's not clear if anyone was in the house at the time of the crash. A building inspector has been called in to determine if it's safe for habitation.
