Police: Boy, 13, arrested after leading officers on chase


BOSTON >> Authorities say a 13-year-old boy was arrested in Boston after he allegedly led police on a chase in a stolen sport utility vehicle.

State police say a Chevy Tahoe reported stolen in Foxborough was spotted on Route 93 in Boston around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police say troopers attempted to stop the SUV near Exit 15, but the driver kept going.

He allegedly continued until he crashed into another vehicle in Roxbury. No injuries were reported.

Police say the driver attempted to escape on foot, but was located by authorities on Reading Street and arrested.

It wasn't immediately known what charges the boy is facing.
