Police looking for suspect in robbery of Pittsfield Cooperative Bank on Dalton Ave.



PITTSFIELD -- Police say a man robbed The Pittsfield Cooperative Bank on Dalton Avenue on Monday afternoon.

They say the suspect is a white male, about 5 feet 8 inches and weighing about 200-210 pounds. He is described as being in his late 30s to mid 40s and was wearing blue jeans, a yellow T-shirt with "Pelle Pelle" on the front, a tan cap and blank rectangle frame glasses.

No weapon was shown, but the man did pass a note to the teller. He fled the scene on foot on Dartmouth Street.

Police did not disclose how much cash was taken.
