Police say Mass. man was drunk when he shot his dog
MIDDLEBORO (AP) -- Police say a Middleboro man was drunk when he shot his dog.
The Patriot Ledger reports that police arrested Gordon Lagstrom at his home on Saturday after receiving a call from a veterinarian who was treating a dog with gunshot wounds.
Police held the 55-year-old Lagstrom in protective custody. He is charged with animal cruelty, improper storage of a gun, being intoxicated while in possession of a gun and discharging a gun within 500-feet of a building.
It was not known Sunday if he is represented by a lawyer.
