Police search for clues in Otis man's disappearance

EAST OTIS -- Police are asking for the public's help in the search for an East Otis man who has been missing since early January.

Gregory Dickson, 39, was last seen walking in the area of Katie's Country Store in East Otis on Thursday, Jan. 9, according to Otis Police Chief Roberta Sarnacki.

Police describe Dickson as a white male, approximately 5-foot-6-inches tall, 155 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. Dickson also usually wears glasses, according to a release put out by the Otis Police Department.

Though Dickson currently resides in East Otis, he used to live in Chester with his mother, according to Sarnacki.

"We have no reason to think he is lost or anything like that," Sarnacki said. "He was suffering from depression, according to friends who saw him last."

Anyone with information on Dickson's location, or anyone who has seen Dickson since Jan. 9, is urged to call the Otis Police Department at (413) 269-0100 or Massachusetts State Police in Lee at (413) 243-0600.
