Price Chopper issues limited recall of Grab-and-Go Apple Blue Salads


SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Price Chopper and Market 32 Supermarkets are issuing a limited recall on Grab-and-Go Apple Blue Salads that were sold in eight stores, including Pittsfield's, from Jan. 2-7 and at 32 stores between Jan. 8-12.

The product label didn't contain walnuts, an allergen that is present in the Apple Blue Salad. The product is safe for consumption by those who are not allergic to walnuts.

The seven other stores where the product was sold are located in Glenville, Wilton, Clifton Shoppers World, Rotterdam, Niskayuna and Glenmont in New York, and in Bennington, Vt.
