Open house: St. Agnes Academy will hold an open house on Thursday, from 7 to 8 p.m., at the school, 30 Carson Ave., Dalton.
Interested parents are invited to attend and take a tour and learn more about the pre-kindergarten through Grade 8 parochial school.

Apply to Berkshire Fringe: Bazaar Productions is holding an open artist application period for the ninth annual Berkshire Fringe festival, held in July and August on the campus of Bard College at Simon's Rock in Great Barrington.
This summer, five companies or individuals will be invited to the festival to perform and develop new work. All artists receive state-of-the-art theater space for their work, campus housing, ample marketing and publicity resources, extensive support from technical and front of house staff, half of box office sales, and complimentary tickets to all performances, events and workshops.

Kevin O'Hara presents: The Pittsfield Cultural Council will host a reading and book signing with award-winning Pittsfield author and storyteller Kevin O'Hara on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Mr. Finn's Cabaret on the lower level of Barrington Stage Company's Sydelle and Lee Blatt Performing Arts Center, 36 Linden St., Pittsfield.
The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and refreshments will be available. Seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Donations will be accepted at the door for the Pittsfield Cultural Council's Art Scholarship fund.
Music Blast Home Recording: On Wednesday, ISI83 Art School of the Berkshires will offer a new class, "Music Blast Home Recording."
Aspiring young musicians and sound artists in grades 6 through 9 will have the chance to learn the basics of multi-track recording and sound design with artist and musician John Clarke.

Medical training: On Friday, from 9 a.m. to noon, BFAIR (Berkshire Family And Individual Resources) is offering a training on basic neurology and pharmacology.
The training, offered by BFAIR's Director Clinical Services Eric Denette, provides an overview of the basic principles of neurology and psychopharmacology and how it relates to medication treatment. The discussion is also provided in the context of adults with developmental disabilities and children as well.
