LEE LIBRARY FUN >> The Lee Library at 100 Main St., will host two special events on Saturday. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Visitors can pose for a photo with the signed Boston Bruins hockey stick gifted to the library from mascot Blades for participation in the 2015 Summer Reading Program. The stick will then go on permanent display.

At 11 a.m., "Elf" (97 minutes, rated PG) will be screened as part of the "FamiLee Movie" series. Info: leelibrary.org or 413-243-0385.

YOUTH TRAVEL GRANT >> February 1 is the deadline to apply for the Alice & Richard Henriquez Memorial Fund and the Youth World Awareness Program coordinated through the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation. Students ages 14-22 who are residents of the Berkshire Taconic region and who plan to travel internationally to work and live in a community and help promote international peace and justice are eligible to apply.

Grants awarded generally range from $500 to $1,500 for individuals. Larger amounts are considered for groups. See past projects here: http://ow.ly/WbgfW.

The Youth World Awareness Program is also actively seeking donations to allow more young people from the Berkshire Taconic region to travel and do humanitarian work in foreign countries.

GIRLS' LACROSSE CLINIC >> The Boys & Girls Club of the Berkshires is hosting a learn-to-play lacrosse skills development clinic for girls in grades 5-8. Clinics will be held from 6 to 7:15 p.m. on Thursdays in the gymnasium at Morningside Community School in Pittsfield from Jan. 7 to March 17. New and returning players are welcome.
