Dr. Ruth Potee will present "The Teen Brain & Risk Taking," at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday at Taconic High School, 96 Valentine Road, Pittsfield. Potee, a Greenfield family medicine practitioner, will discuss teen brain development and its impact on risk-taking behavior, including the use of opiates, other drugs and alcohol, and what this means for parents of teens. Potee chairs the Healthcare Solutions Opioid Task Force of Franklin County. Teens, parents, caregivers, teachers, youth workers and others are encouraged to attend this free public program, sponsored by the Berkshire Opioid Abuse Prevention Collaborative.

The Fresh Air Fund is looking for local families to host visiting children for 7 to 10 days this summer. Children from low-income New York City families are invited to take a break from the city to enjoy the scenery and make new friends in the Berkshires. The Williams College Museum of Art (WCMA) presents "Seen Yr Show: Senior Studio Art Exhibition," on view through June 5, at the Main Street museum in Williamstown. The exhibition features the work of 14 Williams studio art majors: Aurora Brown, Marc Burnett, Ezequiel Davila, Andrea Estrada Bianchi, Mei Kazama, Angelina Lin, Jonas Luebbers, Winnie Ma, Julia Matejcek, Katherine Mooney, Clover Powell, Stephanie Sun, Brian Trelegan, and Kelly Wang. The Mt. Greylock Visitor's Center will at 11 a.m. on Sunday host a "Robins vs. Hawks Lawn Game" at the center, 30 Rockwell Road, Lanesborough. This group activity requires at least three players. Like the game of tag, it features vigorous running and a surprise ending as participants learn about predators and prey.

Wildlife rehabilitator Tom Ricardi will presents a "Birds of Prey" program, from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, at Bartholomew's Cobble, 105 Weatogue Road, Sheffield. Meet live hawks, owls, falcons, an eagle and a turkey vulture that he cares for, during this all-ages event. The cost is $15 general admission; free for kids; $9 for Trustees of Reservations members.
