Drury High School, 1130 Church St., North Adams, invites the district's students and families in grades 7-12 to its annual "Destination Drury Showcase," from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., on Wednesday. Parents and guardians will have the opportunity to learn about their child's teachers and classes, interact in classroom demonstrations and learn valuable college and career readiness information.

A 6 p.m. meeting for parents and guardians of Drury seniors will be held in the auditorium. After the showcase, families are invited to "Chill on the Hill," an ice cream social with student ambassadors and staff. Info: Molly Meczywor, 413-662- 3240 or mmeczywor@napsk12.org

Berkshire Community College, 1350 West St., Pittsfeild, will host from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, a New England Association for College Admission Counseling (NEACAC) Fall Fair in the Paterson Field House on campus. Fall foliage horse drawn wagon rides and historical stories will be offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., running every 30 minutes on Sunday at Bartholomew's Cobble, 105 Weatogue Road, Sheffield. Beginning at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Congregation Beth Israel, 53 Lois St., North Adams, will launch its new monthly family art making program. This month, educator and storyteller, Jane Shiyah, will lead children, ages 3 to 6, and families through a simple bookmaking activity and share family stories. A family bagel brunch buffet will follow, with Jane Shiyah and Maggid David Arfa telling the story of "King Solomon and his Ring of Power" and others. Cost is free for CBI Hebrew School families; $10 per person up to $25/family. Scholarships available. RSVP to Maggid David Arfa, david@maggiddavid.net, by Thursday.

The second annual "Taking Steps for Our Youth" benefit fun race for the Boys & Girls Clubs of The Berkshires will take place at 10 a.m., starting at 16 Melville St., Pittsfield. Drinks and snacks will be provided at the finish line, with music by DJ Young Champ. Costs range from $10 for children to $30 per family.
