Rev Tor Band celebrates an anniversary with a little help from some friends


PITTSFIELD >> A Who's Who of local and regional musicians will be on hand on Saturday night at the Tavern at the "A" to celebrate the 20th anniversary show by the Rev Tor Band.

The show starts at 8 p.m. The event will benefit Moments House, a non-for-profit organization that provides programs and support fo families living with cancer.

The lineup for Saturday's show, in no particular order, includes Mark Mercier of Max Creek, Brett Connors of Flipper Dave, Gary Backstrom of Jiggle the Handle, Pete Adams, Mike Basiliere, Gina Coleman and Dan Esko.

Other featured artists include Tyler Fairbank, Dave Lincoln, Matt Mervis, Ed Moran, Pat Muraca, Mike "Gallagher" Rau, Jim Reynolds, Derrick Rodgers, Jennifer Schultheis, Matt Stonewell, Mary Verdi, Dave Vittone, Jason Webster and the band Domino Theory.

This is part of 20th anniversary tour, according to a release from the band. The Rev Tor Band is a staple of the Berkshire County music scene. The jam band has performed up and down the East Coast for the past two decades.

The band has seven releases. Their latest is "Live at the Unicorn."
