Sandisfield: Ballet director to present dance program


Emmy award-winning choreographer, artistic director, master teacher, and celebrated ballerina Anna-Marie Holmes will appear in a special presentation at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 19, at the Sandisfield Arts Center, 5 Hammertown Road, off Route 57.

Holmes, who served as ballet program director for 16 seasons at Jacob's Pillow, will present "Inside Jacobs Pillow and the World of Dance." She will be accompanied by two dancers from the Jacob's Pillow ballet programs and Kansas City Ballet Music Director Ramona Pansegrau.

The audience is encouraged to bring questions.

Admission is $20 for adults and $10 for students with a 50 percent discount for dance class groups.
