Saturday's hockey: Wahconah beats Mount Everett

Sunday December 9, 2012

SHEFFIELD -- Wahconah had nine different players score -- including four newcomers -- in a 12-1 season-opening win over Mount Everett.

Patrick Jamross had two assists and a goal while David Senecal had two goals and an assist. Devin Battaini had two goals and two assists.

"It took us probably five minutes to really start spreading the puck around," said Warriors coach Don Disbrow. "Once we got them to spread out and start cycling the puck, it opened things up. ... Just seeing the balance is nice."

Peter Lovejoy had Everett's lone goal.
