Season at Hubbard Hall continues with 'King Lear'


CAMBRIDGE, N.Y. -- Theatre Company at Hubbard Hall (TCHH) will present Willliam Shakespeare's "King Lear," beginning with a pay-what-you-will preview Thursday evening at 8.

The production officially opens Friday and is scheduled to run through March 23 with performances Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 and Sunday afternoons at 2 at Hubbard Hall Center for the Arts, Main Stage, 25 E. Main St.

TCHH artistic director John Hadden is playing Lear and co-directing with Ava Roy, who plays the dual roles of Lear's youngest daughter, Cordelia, and the Fool.

Other leading roles will be played by Carmen-Maria Mandley as Goneril, Myka Plunkett as Regan, Gino Costabile as Edmund, Doug Ryan as Gloucester, John Terry as Kent and James Udom as Edgar.
