Elder Services offers resources and services for Berkshire seniors, including Meals on Wheels and senior group lunches, information & referral, case management, homemaker, personal care, caregiver services, and more. The COA office, located at 3 Hoosac St., is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and van service is available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday; call 413-743-8333 at least two days in advance for medical appointments, in-town shopping, banking, and rides to the Visitor's Center for lunch and/or programs. SHINE, Health Insurance Assistance, is available by appointment.

Congregate meals are served Tuesdays and Thursdays at 11 a.m. at Town Hall. Bingo will follow the meals. There is a suggested donation of $2. For reservations, call Sonny at 413-623-8934, ext. 27, on Tuesday or Thursday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. A blood pressure clinic is offered on the third Tuesday of each month and a potluck is offered on the third Thursday of each month. Brown Bag is no longer offered.
The Council on Aging van is available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 413-743-9719 Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., for all inquiries and reservations. Call Elsie at 413-743-9612 for foot clinic appointments.

Nutritious meals for persons 60 and older are served at the Senior Center on Mondays and Thursdays. Reservations must be in by noon of the business day before by calling 413-684-2000. A donation of $2 is requested. The Café is open from 8 to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday. The building is equipped with WiFi.

The Florida Senior Center, located at 367 Mohawk Trail, is closed for Christmas week. Regular hours are 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday. Information: 413-662-2811. Registration for all special events and meals, two days in advance, is requested.
The Claire Teague Senior Center is open from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Lunch is served at 11:30 a.m. weekdays. Suggested donation: $2 for people 60 and over, $6 for all others. The Council on Aging has drop-in hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. The van is available every Thursday to pick up seniors and take them to the Great Barrington Senior Center for a nutritious meal, shopping, doctor appointments and errands. Jewish Federation of the Berkshires offers a Senior Adult Kosher Lunch Program in conjunction with Elder Services at Congregation Knesset Israel, 16 Colt Road. Reservations are required before 9 a.m. by calling 413-442-2200.
